Thank you to all of you lovelies who entered my giveaway
I enjoyed reading what inspires your heart...
I love the beach and decided to
play with some sea fans this weekend
and of course my friend JB weld
which I had no patience to let dry
I used various items and bonded my
sea fans to make decorative pieces...
this project I found in the August 2011
Martha Stewart Living Magazine
it was simple and easy
I placed the scraps that had broken off
on vintage frogs to use as display
I had an old plate stand that I used to
display a much larger piece...
I took old broken window and
added a sea fan to the corner
now I can add something in between
the cross bars
I hung a piece of sea fan from the wire
of this vintage chipped frame that I love
and now for the winner...
Mama drew the lovely Anne Marie
from Nada Farm
I spent hours reading post after post and truly
she is such a precious one..
Have a beautiful week
my love to all of you...
xoxo

What a beautifully way to display those sea fans, Kate! They add such elegance and texture where ever you placed them. ♥ Congrats to sweet Anne-Marie! I'm so glad that she won! :)

Kate you always have such a talent with your display. Love the sea fans and what you've done with these. You must find and harvest them yourselves? Such a fun and cool thing to display with. I am a lover and collector of beach glass and comb the beaches for cool treasures, but since I'm land locked and only searching large lake beaches, it will be some time before I ever own one of these beauties. So cool!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are doing well. Have missed not being in blog land, but have kept all of my time spent creating jewelry and/or promoting the shows that I'm creating for in early September.
Sounds like your health is better and a belated birthday blessing and wish to you for your birthday I missed. :( Take care sweet Kate.

Hi Kate,
ReplyDeleteIt was so nice meeting you at Country Roads last month. I *love* my corbel I bought from you and hope soon I can get some of the coral I was wanting ;-). I hope you're doing well... if you visit my blog you can see the picture of how I arranged my corbel with some of my own sea fans ironically, as well as other found treasures... I just love it. I plan to do a whole post about my adventures in So Cal and will def include you and the picture of us (even though it's terrible of me! lol!) and I'll let you know when I do. Take care!
