" Frame It Vintage "

When I found this vintage frame

my heart skipped a beat.

I was truly {swooning}

over the patina that was covering the wood.

I decided instead of another chalkboard

maybe we could use some of our scrap pieces

in our work shed.

{ broken shutter & reclaimed scraps }

Using the frame as a template

he attached the pieces to the underside of the frame

then hung it as large art work

directly to the wall.

Then I added elements

that I love using...

Love the rustic feel...

It fit perfectly over our vintage dresser

Here is the full length shot of the frame

after we first finished.

Have a beautiful week my lovelies!

I will be linking this post

to Kathleen's White Wednesday # 145

Much love to all of you
XOXO

Very cool! At first, I couldn't see what you had done. I thought I was seeing layers of items, not all of them gathered in one frame. Hope your week is wonderful. Tammy

Kate,
Thank you for the sweet comments and the lovely thoughts sent my way. It's been a long year, but now in 2012 I'm ready to move forward into my new life. I've learned a lot along the way, done some healing (not quite finished...but I'm getting there) and deepened my faith. How is Momma doing?
Blessings & hugs,
Karen
