The Dior home is an older
one that is filled with
small spaces that lend themself
to a unique way of display
with function...
Our home does not really have
an entry way so I am always looking
for something to create a sense of "us"
when you first walk through the door...
I love mixing neutral textures
to create that "coastal living" feel...
I love pieces of nature
such as dried branches
along with other elements that I can
use to lend a peaceful calm...
Old salvaged windows
are among my favorites
and a must have for me...
It was the perfect size
for this old piano bench
to add height and
take up bare wall space.
I was delighted to
find this beautiful woven seagrass
basket with handles at
the Goodwill for 3.99
I found this old sewing table there
as well and after doing a gray
white wash I decided to have some
fun and chalk the top...
Since I will be using it in the entry
I just might have to start a game
of " tic tac toe " on it
with Mr. Dior...
I will be linking up to
the beautiful Kathleen's
White Wednesday!
Much love to all of you
XOXO

Well Lady Kate, I absolutely love the chalkboard tabletop idea but with all my clutter nobody could see what I wrote. lol
ReplyDeleteWhen you help me de-clutter I will use the idea on every surface. With me getting older I'm gonna have to start labeling everything in my house so I won't forget what it is much less where I put it. lol
