" Vintage Country Vows "

Every girl dreams of her day...

The day she takes that walk down the aisle

from her daddy's arm and says

" I do"

I was blessed so very much by my last

wedding of this season...

Brittany & James

Being a wedding planner for over twenty years

I have done my share of getting the bride

down the aisle, but this gal she stole my heart...

As the good Lord had planned he knew

this wedding would spark a deep place inside of me...

The hiding place that holds all the dreams

I have seen come true...

When Brittany shared her vision

of a vintage country wedding I knew

we were kindred spirits...

Especially when she found this old gate

door from a horse stable and wanted to use it as

part of her ceremony site...

The moment I saw her in her gown that

day I fought back my tears.

Brittany was a stunning beauty...

The most beautiful part of

this wedding was the labor of love behind it.

So many loving hands helped bring forth

Brittany's dream of a vintage country wedding.

The wedding took place at her

parents residence that we transformed into

her country style setting...

Tents were put up, bales of hay set down

and even the burlap place settings along with

wedding favors were hand made by dear friends...

This vintage truck provided by a family friend

was a perfect backdrop for

her beautiful photos

Brittany's man of her dreams James

was a true darling of a groom.

This moment with her daddy

my tears flowed like a river as

I watched them together

during their father daughter dance...

Every moment of this wedding

was filled with love

as these two families united together...

I walked away with so much love

in my heart that night

for many reasons...

Mr. Dior who was there to make sure I was

able to get through it all.

My wonderful business partner Leslee whom I am forever

grateful for the many years we have worked

side by side during all of our events...

That she can still read my mind

and finish my sentences.

Most of all I am so very honored to

have been the wedding planner

for this amazing couple!

Brittany & James

Wishing you both a lifetime of God's

blessing for your marriage...

I leave you with our favorite

marriage verse...

Though one may be overpowered,

two can defend themselves.

A cord of three strands is not easily broken.

Ecclesiates 4 : 12

Much love to you both
XOXO

Beautiful rustic wedding, but still very elegant! I think she was lucky to have YOU as her wedding planner. One who gives her heart to the event.

Beautiful Kate,
How fun and glamour to plan these eventful days for lasting memories.
Did you use your old barn doors as part of the props, it looked like she was standing in front of them.
I decorate Estate Model Homes commercial and residential homes as well, but how O would love to try my hand at your beautiful job:)
Well someday when my daughter takes the beautiful journey I can play wedding planner stylist.

Have a beautiful welcome to the New Year!
I am so going to enjoy visiting you and plans to meet up to share a little friendship.

Lots of love Kate

How sweet. Thanks for making this wedding so beautiful and everything Brittany wanted. Even though, I'm the mom, I have to say she was and is a beautiful bride. Can you believe when we met when Brett and Brittany were in kindergarten you would continue be part of our lives? We are blessed to call you a friend.

I went to an amazing wedding just today - so it is neat to pop in to read your awesome blog to see your wonderful planned event.

I adore the unique ones. This one was at a lodge, and with all our perfectly pristine snow, wow was it ever a gorgeous wedding.

Best wishes to Brittany and James for a happy and healthy and LONG life together.

Happy New Year to you, too!

Beautiful Kate!I have not been to a wedding in years.Children are still growing in my family but I am sure we are getting closer to wedding years again in our family.
LOVE all of her vintage elements she chose. If I could do it over again that would have been my dream wedding so pretty.I was young when I was married so details were not so important. And our total cost was 7,000 including photography, meal, honeymoon, dress etc. That was almost 24 years ago.And it rained on our wedding day too.But after all these years I am still head over heals in love with my guy :-)
Love these photos! What a beautiful bride and a beautiful couple too!Thank you for sharing!Best wishes to you and your family in the coming year!

I love this idea of friends coming together to help the bride create her wedding dream. It is the way it should be done. So much more fun for everyone to work together.

Have you recovered yet, dear Kate?
